Now that we know what exact word matching is and what it can do for you let’s try using it. The steps to use the exact word feature are easy. First, make sure you have entered the Linguise dashboard.
Then, select the Translations tab and then select Translations. After that, you will see the Filter text in the original language and Filter by translated text columns. Under both columns, you can now activate an exact match feature.
For example, in the default English language, we will only search for the word “Cart.” When an exact match is not enabled, the filter results will be like this: All words containing “cart” will appear. Here, the intention is to only search for the word “Cart.”
Meanwhile, when an exact match is enabled, it will only show the word “cart” which translates to all languages.
An exact match can be used in the original language and translated text as follows.
