I have a travel website and some of the content changes continually. If my plan is 600000 words, does that get used up just for the changed content, or to the entire page? If all content my site uses words when re-loaded, I could use up 600 000 words in a half day. What is the solution?
Hello,
Linguise translates your content only once, then it will be stored in our Cloud Database and your local database (for URL translation and cache purposes). The translation quota covers the entire translation of your website content. You can review and manage it within the Linguise dashboard.
Once your website is translated, it will no longer consume translation quota as it loads the translated version from database. However, any updates or changes to the original content will trigger re-translation of the modified parts.
If you exceed the translation limit, you may consider upgrading your subscription or reducing the number of languages used on your website. Additionally, you can utilize Rules to exclude unnecessary translations, which may save significant quota usage.
If you're curious about the translation process, we invite you to explore our services with a one-month free trial. This trial period provides you with the opportunity to experience our offerings without any commitment to purchase a plan. You will then have a guess of how much translation needed for your website and able to select the plan that suit to your needs.
Best regards,
To avoid any confusion, I'd like to provide additional clarification.
In my previous message, I mentioned that Linguise will translate content only once for website content.
If you have content that hasn't been translated yet, Linguise will continue to translate it as needed. However, once content has been translated, it will no longer consume translation quota.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
